I expect to visit my 100th country at some point this year; I have no idea what country it will be, but whoever is the first to make the correct guess by leaving a comment on this post will win a North Korean stamp book and other prizes from the DPRK.

Unfortunately I have been there already – although illegally by sneaking in via China. I was working in a Kong-fu movie and the Chinese brought us over the border to film in the jungle in the rebel occupied zones.

There is no talk of canceled tours – this is all tough talk by North Korea as they look for a payoff or bribe to stand down, don’t think it will work this time, and they have really pissed of the Chinese.
I expect to hit my 100th country sometime this fall – so going to have to be patient! But as long as everyone left their proper email when they commentated I will get back the winner and also announce it here

Yeah, all the paranoia that the North Koreans are going to nuke us is absurd – but they might test one off in desperation, wouldn’t put it past them, but it really doesn’t make much sense since a little good will could have gone a long way with helping their general situation.
